Why do we so often doubt and deny our talents and passions?
Is it because we're scared of failure, or of hearing other people's criticism?
This doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes after completing an art piece, i will look at it, get nervous, and think about not showing anyone. -i have anxiety problems, but this is aside from that fact. lol- However, when i show my friends, they love it and say that i am so creative. But why do i still wanna hide away and not show my face for a few days after?
..I need to gain some confidence, show the WORLD my work, and smack the negativity out of my mind.
Who's with me?!
So, now i am taking a stand to say:
I AM AN ARTIST.
not just because i am in AP art at school,
and not just because i get compliments on my work,
but because that is what i love to do and it's something that is important to me and completes me.
..
So when life gives you lemons,
paint on them, and show the world your masterpiece!
